Head Office, Bolton, BL6 6HG - Credit Controller (Maternity Leave cover)

Head Office, Horwich, Bolton (BL6 6HG)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to cover Maternity leave.  This position is expected to last for approximately 9 months reporting to the Finance Director.

The successful candidate will be required to:-

  •         Manage and maintain the Sales Ledger to ensure that all balances are correct and controlled.
  •         Contact Customers on a regular basis to agree balances and payment dates.
  •         Maintain a diary facility.
  •         Deal with Customer invoice/account queries on a timely basis.
  •         Ensure credit notes are raised as required.
  •         Allocate payments on accounts as received.
  •         Open new accounts ensuring that credit checks and references are obtained.
  •         Set and review credit limits and review accounts to ensure payment terms are met.
  •         Give credit authorisation were required.
  •         Carry out month end procedures on time and ensure all statements are sent out appropriately.
  •         Liaise with the FD with regard to bad debts and recovery.
  •         Supervision of Credit Control Apprentice.

 Required Skills:-

  •        Strong credit control background.
  •        Experienced in use of word and Excel.
  •        Understanding of JBA System 21 is desirable.
  •        Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Working hours:-
8.30am to 5.00pm Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri, 9.00am to 5.30pm Tues.  40 hours per week.  The Company is willing to consider different hours to secure the right candidate.  

Derby - Sales and Service Advisor

Derby (DE24 8ST)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To actively sell (face to face and over the telephone) and promote Indespension trailers/parts/associated equipment in a trade counter environment.
  • To serve customers politely and efficiently either at the counter, off site, on the telephone, providing professional and timely advice on trailers/services and towing accessories.
  • To advise and take orders for trailer hire and towbar fitting updating the diary accordingly. To liaise with the workshop team as required.
  • Ensure all stock orders received are shelved at the earliest opportunity and are presented safely, tidily and in an attractive manner. Displays should be updated and maintained regularly to maximise customer interest.
  • To hold a full current driving licence (towing licence advantageous).

Gatwick - Towbar and Service Technician

Gatwick (RH11 0PS)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To fit towbar (including vehicle electrics) and carry out trailer services/repairs.
  • To keep up to date with any changes to suppliers’ towbar fitting instructions including wiring. To attend courses as required.
  • To service and repair the Company’s fleet of hire trailers to an agreed schedule.
  • To maintain and update full records of each trailer in the Company hire fleet for servicing purposes.
  • To assemble and modify trailers as required.
  • To be able to ascertain faults and provide technical advice as required.
  • To hold a full current driving licence (towing licence advantageous).
