Cardiff - Sales and Service Advisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To actively sell (face to face and over the telephone) and promote Indespension trailers/parts/associated equipment in a trade counter environment.
  • To serve customers politely and efficiently either at the counter, off site, on the telephone, providing professional and timely advice on trailers/services and towing accessories.
  • To advise and take orders for trailer hire and towbar fitting updating the diary accordingly. To liaise with the workshop team as required.
  • Ensure all stock orders received are shelved at the earliest opportunity and are presented safely, tidily and in an attractive manner. Displays should be updated and maintained regularly to maximise customer interest.
  • To hold a full current driving licence (towing licence advantageous).

Newcastle – Branch Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the daily operation/motivation of an Indespension Branch and team, ensuring an excellent level of customer service is achieved by all members of staff at all times.
  • Responsible for maximizing branch/external sales and margin ensuring targets are achieved ensuring policies/procedures are followed.
  •  Actively sell (face to face and over the telephone) and promote Indespension trailers/parts/associated equipment/services. To gain market penetration of the Indespension brand gaining new customers and retaining existing customers.
  •  Control the stock of parts and finished trailers, within the agreed stocking/budgetary guidelines.
  •  Ensure the Branch is kept clean, tidy, well presented and stocked including parts, trailers, leaflets.
  •  Become familiar with all the products supplied by Indespension and to gain area penetration of these products by personal contact, telephone calls and   promotions utilizing other members of staff where necessary.
  •  To maintain a customer record system detailing sales, enquiries, follow-ups and general prospects.
  •  Accurately control stocktaking as determined by the Company ensuring all staff participate as required.
  •  Be the primary key holder for the Branch and respond to alarm call outs where necessary.
  •  Hold a full, clean, current driving and towing licence.
